The Management Senate is one of the governance bodies at Delta, alongside the Academic Senate (for faculty) and the Classified Senate (for classified staff). The Management Senate has a Professional Growth Committee, which addresses training, development, and professional issues for managers. Like other senates, Management senate works in the shared governance structures serving as a voice for management-level staff in policy discussions and decision-making processes.

Mission

• To represent its members and present their concerns to the Superintendent/President and /or the Board of Trustees regarding the San Joaquin Delta Community College District, hereafter known as the District.
• To actively participate in the decision making process of the District in determining institutional priorities, positions, policies, regulations and procedures.
• To promote an atmosphere of respect, integrity, mutual trust, and openness among students, faculty, and classified staff, Board of Trustees, administration, and other interested persons concerning the welfare and growth of the college.
• To provide a forum that encourages the free exchange of ideas regarding the total operation of an institution of higher learning, without fear of reprisal or retribution against any individual member.
• To promote and support equal employment opportunities in all aspects of the District.
