The Delta College POST Academy mission is to prepare students mentally, morally, emotionally and physically to perform the duties of a peace officer. Rigorous training and testing ensures that each student graduates with demonstrated character, knowledge of the law, problem-solving abilities, human relations, communication and physical skills needed to meet the professional standards of a peace officer.
