As an Academic Advisor supporting ESL students, Marisol is passionate about supporting students from their very first English class through graduation, job advancement, or university transfer. Whether students are learning English to earn a degree, pursue their dream job, communicate confidently, or grow professionally, Marisol is committed to empowering them to reach their goals every step of the way.
Marisol Corona is a proud graduate of Edison High School (Class of 2000). She earned an A.A. degree in Accounting and a B.S. degree in Business Management. Marisol is a proud member of the Undocumented Ally Educators and Professionals and the La Raza Employee Association at ÐÓ°ÉÊÓÆµ.
With over 20 years of experience working in education¡ªincluding time with the San Joaquin County Office of Education and ÐÓ°ÉÊÓÆµ¡ªMarisol has spent her career serving students, families, and the community with dedication and heart. She finds great joy in supporting students from all walks of life¡ªwhether they¡¯re graduating from high school, returning to college after time away, building a new life in a new country, or learning English for the very first time. Marisol welcomes every student with care and encouragement as they take the next step in their educational journey. Her passion for helping others, combined with her deep knowledge of the educational system, makes her a trusted and caring Academic Advisor. Marisol feels honored to be part of each student¡¯s academic journey and proud to play a role in their success.
