Code of Ethics
The Code of Ethics of ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ Classified Senate will be consistent with democratic principles.
The SJDC Classified Senate and its individual members will adhere to the following while conducting Senate business:
- Base all decisions on available facts
- Upholding the majority decision of the Senate
- Assisting in developing a governance system that is inclusive of all members of the campus community
- Supporting a campus environment that values the diversity of our campus population
- Maintaining professional and personal integrity in all aspects of service
- Advocating the prudent and responsible expenditure of District and Senate funds
- Demonstrating loyalty to the District’s mission and goals
- Encouraging involvement in the college community by participating in campus committees, activities and other affiliations
